Full clearance, in complete discretion
Need to clear a home after a succession, a forced move, a care-home placement, or a hoarding situation (Diogenes syndrome)? We handle the full clearance — at your pace, with respect for your privacy.
A human approach
These situations are often emotionally heavy. Our role is not to judge, but to support:
- We come in plain clothes, in neutral vehicles, at the time you choose.
- We adapt the pace: everything in one day, or spread over several visits.
- We sort together what is kept, what can be donated, and what must be disposed of.
- No judgment, no photos, no comments to neighbors.
How a clearance works
- Free preliminary visit to assess volume and content.
- Transparent quote: what is kept, what is donated or recycled, and the value of identified antiques.
- Offset: the value of items we buy is deducted from the clearance cost. In many cases the balance is in your favor.
- Clearance and cleaning: we leave the premises clean, ready for sale, rental, or notary handover.
Why an antique dealer is best for this
An antique dealer immediately spots what has value in a clutter: furniture hidden behind shelves, tarnished silver, a stack of old photos, a rare book, a forgotten jewel in a drawer. A standard clearance company cannot do this work. Without that eye, you risk throwing away — or selling cheaply — valuable items.
Confidentiality
No information about the operation is shared with third parties. The contract is between you and us, and stays that way. We work regularly with notaries, grieving families, and social services — confidentiality is at the core of our craft.
